My children are all grown up and my husband is retired. I’m still working but I feel that something has been left unfinished and I’m kind of at a standstill. So, my question is what’s next for me? Which way is my life going?

Episode 005 – Spun Out
The Question:
My company is in the process of spinning off from its parent corporation. This is a time of great uncertainty among the ranks. But I work fully remotely, and this kind of work really isn’t done where I live now, so finding a new job that pays anything close to what I’m earning now is extremely challenging. Do I ride out the spin off and hope for the best, or do I bite the bullet and try to find something else – knowing that it will be long, arduous, and likely represent a pay cut?

Episode 004 – La Señora Crone
The Question:
I am getting close to retiring from a job I love. Not because I want to but because I am having mobility problems. There are things I have to complete before I retire. These things will start the process of leaving. (Paperwork etc.) . I don’t know whether I should start the process this summer or wait until January 2026. Which should I choose?
